You can choose whether your landing page will be indexed by browsers or not. By default, the settings of your landing page allow it to be indexed by the search engines.
In the Smartpages platform, you do not have a direct access to edit the robots.txt file.
How to disable landing page indexation?
- Go to the Landing pages tab, and then click on the Dashboard of the selected landing page.
- Go to the Settings tab (1). In the menu on the right, in Settings, find Landing Page Indexation section and check the checkbox “Add noindex meta tag” (2). Click Save (3).
This action will result with adding a meta tag noindex to your landing page, so the crawlers won’t index your LP.
